Valerie Teo Chiropractic Pte. Ltd. was founded by Dr. Valerie Teo in 2020. It is located in the central area of Singapore at Race Course Road. She is a Singaporean who is a certified chiropractor for both humans and animals and graduated from Macquarie University with a Masters of Chiropractic in 2013.

Due to her passion to expand her chiropractic skills to her furry friends, she has decided to leave her previous work place of 6 years and pursue her dreams to be competent in adjusting both human and animal patients. Thus, at Valerie Teo Chiropractic Pte. Ltd., we care for a range of people of all ages and walks of life from pregnant mothers, babies and children, athletes, office workers and elderly as well as your furry friends. Whether to enhance performance, address injuries, illnesses or simply for preventative care, our chiropractor at Valerie Teo Chiropractor Pte. Ltd. will be here for you.

Prior visit to the clinic

A reminder message of your appointment will be sent to you via whatsapp for confirmation of your attendance.

Upon arrival to clinic

Fill out an initial patient consultation form online that includes personal details, medical history, and concerns about your condition.If you have any X-ray images, kindly hand it over to our friendly front desk for assistance.Upon completion of administration, your chiropractor will be ready to see you.

Consult with your Chiropractor

Consult will include diagnosis of your condition:

  • History taking
  • Physical examination 
  • Neurological examination
  • Orthopaedic examination 
  • Posture analysis

Chiropractic Management

Your chiropractor will then explain and discuss a chiropractic plan tailored to your needs along with suggested advice on postural and lifestyle changes prior to a chiropractic adjustment.

First Chiropractic Adjustment

After doing a thorough history and examination, if there is no clinical need for referral, your chiropractor will proceed with an adjustment.

“Chiropractic Adjustments are usually performed with the chiropractor’s hand and is defined as a high velocity, low-amplitude, controlled thrust, by hand or instrument, on a specific joint articulation.”

Following the first chiropractic adjustment, some people may feel slight soreness. This occurs as the body re-aligns and generally only lasts for a short period of time of approximately 24-48 hours.

Things To Take Note:

Please note that imaging studies are not compulsory during the first visit unless clinically necessary before proceeding for an adjustment. Please set aside about 1 hour for your first visit and up to half an hour for your follow up visit. We request our patients to be on time to be fair to us and other patients.

Subsequent / Follow-up visits

Adjustments In Subsequent Visits

In your second and subsequent consultations, the chiropractor will continue with the adjustment plan as outlined in your first visit.

Not Responding To Adjustment Plan?

If for some reason your body is not responding as anticipated, or we have found one adjustment type that is not as effective as another, your chiropractor will alter the adjustment as required during your consult.

New Pain Or New Condition?

If you come in with a new problem, the chiropractor will assess you again to form another diagnosis.

Chiropractic adjustments do not take long. The adjustments is not gauged by the length of time but is entirely dependent on the severity and intensity of condition when presented to the clinic. The duration stated for initial and subsequent visits varies and is only an estimated time.
