What is Chiropractic?

Chiropractic is an effective, natural and non-invasive health care model that specializes in restoring the body to work at it’s full potential. Chiropractic is not limited to people who are injured or sick. Healthy and athletic people are also ideal candidates for chiropractic care.

Whether it is to enhance performance, address injuries, illnesses or simple preventative care, chiropractic can make a difference in your day to day life.

why do we feel pain in our body?

Day to day each individual will perform daily activities that we assume is “normal” without realising the amount of stress placed on our body. Due to the complexity of our body, we have a natural instinct to accommodate and be sensitised to pain. The body will subsequently experience:

  • Contraction of the surrounding muscles and ligaments, causing them to be compromised and inflamed.
  • Changes to our pain tolerance, increased pain sensitivity.
  • Affecting proper circulation in our system, as well as affecting organ function.

what DO chiropractors do?

Chiropractic adjustments are usually performed with the chiropractor’s hand, called an adjustment, whereby it is defined by high velocity, low-amplitude, controlled thrusts, with the use of hands or an instrument, on a specific joint articulation. The main goal of a chiropractor is to restore function and mobility to allow the body to activate its ability to heal and regulate itself, similar to a removal of road blockage in the proper nervous system. To know more, stay tuned to our social media platform (Instagram) to get more informative knowledge about chiropractic and our clinic.
